Chandigarh: Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML), India’s leading electric commercial vehicle manufacturer, has announced a landmark achievement, surpassing 300,000 electric vehicle (EV) sales to date. This makes MLMML the first OEM in India to cross this significant milestone in the commercial EV segment, firmly establishing its leadership in sustainable transportation.

The company’s impressive growth trajectory highlights a strong market shift towards electric mobility. Reflecting this acceleration, MLMML achieved the feat of selling its last 1 lakh EVs in just 12 months, underscoring robust customer acceptance and preference for its electric portfolio.

🌳 Impact Beyond Sales: A Greener Footprint

Mahindra’s wide range of electric commercial vehicles, which includes the popular Treo range, Zor Grand, e-Alfa 3-wheelers, and the Mahindra ZEO 4-wheeler, are making a tangible environmental impact. Cumulatively, these EVs have covered a distance of over 5 billion kilometers. This has resulted in offsetting over 185 kilometric tonnes of CO₂, an environmental saving equivalent to the impact of planting more than 4.3 million trees.

Mahindra’s early focus on electrifying the last mile segment, coupled with its consistent efforts in ecosystem development with multiple partners, has been crucial in accelerating customer adoption.

Empowering Drivers with Technology and Benefits

To mark the 3 lakh EV landmark, MLMML has launched the refreshed NEMO platform on iOS, Android, and Web. This digital platform is designed to empower drivers and fleet managers by allowing them to remotely manage and monitor their vehicles.

Key new features of the NEMO platform include:

  • Multi-Vehicle Management within a single app.
  • Geo-tracking for real-time location monitoring.
  • Easy service booking and roadside assistance (RSA) access.
  • Extensive listings of charging network locations.

This technological upgrade builds on previous customer-centric initiatives, such as the UDAY NXT program introduced at the 2 lakh milestone. UDAY NXT focuses on driver empowerment, offering benefits like a ₹20 Lakh driver accidental insurance cover and financial counselling. These steps reinforce Mahindra’s commitment to delivering unparalleled value and fostering inclusive mobility.
