“It has come to our attention that certain individuals, groups, and digital platforms are misusing the UTI brand and logo to lure unsuspecting users into transferring money via fake apps and unauthorized WhatsApp groups. These activities are being conducted without any affiliation to UTI AMC or UTI Mutual Fund and are intended to mislead and defraud the public.”
UTI AMC further clarified that neither the company nor any of its employees are associated with these fake apps or groups, and they will not be held responsible for any financial loss incurred by individuals who fall victim to such scams.
